New In Makeup: Essence

*I would like to stress that I am not being paid to write about these products, I was not given the products for free, nor is this a sponsored post. I feel like in the current climate of misleading information online, it is important to address but I am just a little blogger doing her own thing.*

The makeup brand of Essence cosmetics are known for their affordable, yet high quality products. Recently they’ve had an overhaul of their products and while I know there’s more exciting releases from them to come soon, I thought I would share my current picks from the new ranges!

Velvet Matte Lipstick

04 ‘Hungry Pink’

€2.30

They have three new lines of lipstick, but the ones I was drawn to were their newly re-packaged velvet matte lipsticks. I adore Essence for their lip products because in my experience they are always long lasting and cheap as chips, and these are no exception! I picked up this gorgeous deep pink, which you will most likely see me sporting this Autumn!

Cosmic Lights nail polish

‘Holo Me Crazy’

€3.10

I was on the lookout for chrome like polishes for the longest time, but between finding ones online that weren’t readily available in Ireland and being astronomical prices for a polish, I had no luck, so you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled across this gorgeous glittering shade from the Cosmic Lights range. It is a fabulously dazzling purple with specks of holographic glitter shining through and I am truly obsessed!

Melted Chrome eyeshadow

01 ‘Zinc About You’ (rose gold)

02 ‘Ironic’ (gold)

03 ‘Platinum Nights’ (navy)

€3.80 each

From the melted chrome range (that also include metallic liquid lipsticks) come six delightfully glittering shades and will have your eyes popping this Autumn and upcoming party season. As you can see I picked up three of the possible six shades, one gold, rose gold, and navy, and I absolutely adore them. Here I have them swatched on my hand with no primer used underneath and you can obviously see just how pigmented they are. The photograph is also filter free so you can see them in all their glory!

They are just the few bits I picked up since Essence’s product line revamp, I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!
