*I would like to stress that I am not being paid to write about these products, I was not given the products for free, nor is this a sponsored post. I feel like in the current climate of misleading information online, it is important to address but I am just a little blogger doing her own thing.*
Essence cosmetics are known for affordable, yet high quality makeup and like a lot of people my age, they were the first brand that really got me into makeup.
However, there will be hits and misses like there is with all brands, drugstore or high end, so today I will be sharing my personal favourites from Essence.
Lip Liner Pencil
Pretty much all of my favourite lip products come from Essence and their lip liner pencils are on top! They boast a creamy texture, great pigment, are super long lasting and it all comes in at just €1.30. I know, what a bargain! I am also under the impression that the shade ‘Satin Mauve’ is a dupe for MAC’s ‘Soar’
Waterproof Eyeliner Pen
This is the only eyeliner I will use on my eyelids and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Felt tip liners make it so much easier to achieve the winged liner look and and with the fine tip this liner has, it is perfect for that. It’s also water/smudge proof so it is a must have.
Princess Lash Mascara
Oh. My. God. Where do I start with this mascara? I was once gifted the original a few years ago and instantly fell in love. It gives you the false lash look for a fraction of the price of other widely known branded mascaras. For me, it even comes a close second to Roller Lash.
Nude Long Lasting Lipstick
I love their lipsticks for how creamy and hydrating they feel on the lips. The pigment can be quite nice depending on the shade, and although you may need a little touch up, for roughly €3 to €4 you really can’t go wrong!
Metal Shock Cream Eyeshadow
I am truly obsessed with these. Cream eyeshadows usually make for a pretty and achievable eye look, one swipe of this striking metallic shadow and your eyelids will be popping!
The Gel Nail Polish
I know I keep banging on about prices and how affordable these products are, but it’s honestly because they are such a bargain. Their gel look nail polish range is incredible. They really give you that glossy gel nail look, the array of shades on sale at all times is just fantastic, AND they last without chipping for numerous days. All ranging for €1.99 to €3 max.
